New ported box, WAY LOUDER. Wow that shit hurts the ears after awhile. But its cool. Type-R 1600watt 500rms max, i wire it at 900wrms @ 2ohms, *overpower* but it can take a lot more than that. Alpine makes good subs!

The amplifier in the AOpen is really small, but it sounds much cleaner and clearer than the huge Class B amp in the Logitech Z-5500. There's only one downside to the AOpen amplifier, there isn't a crossover. So at high volumes, the speakers will be doing excursion from the bass and may distort.
